# MomOps

**MomOps is the operational intelligence of care work, treated as
institutional infrastructure.** It names the uncredited system running
underneath every organisation that depends on caregivers to hold it
together.

## Definition (< 30 words)

MomOps is the framework for making maternal operational intelligence
visible, measurable, and legible to institutions as infrastructure — not
as a soft issue.

## Why it exists

Every organisation is silently sustained by care work it does not
measure. Return-to-work timelines, leave overlap, cognitive load
distribution, succession gaps: the signals exist. Nobody surfaces them.

By the time the financial impact of ignoring maternal intelligence is
visible (in retention, in institutional-knowledge loss, in silent
attrition), the people who could have flagged the risk are already
gone.
